The second leg of the GAA GPA Super 11s hurling series takes place in the US this weekend at the Arlotta Stadium on the Notre Dame University campus.
Various inter-county players from Leinster and Munster will be taking part and they'll be wearing the personalised helmets pictured above.
Since helmets became compulsory in 2010 the game lost something, namely the sight of John Mullane's crazy face whenever he won a free, but also the ability to easily recognise players on the pitch.
These helmets, created by Mycro Sportsgear, would certainly add the spectator experience during the League and Championship.
