It was another pulsating Munster round-robin campaign, with record attendances, brilliant weather and no shortage of high octane hurling. It's the best five weeks of the intercounty GAA season, and hard as it may be, we've tried to pick the best 15 players.
While there's still a Munster final to be contested, we thought now was the right time to select the team of the 2024 round robin.
1. Patrick Collins (Cork)
After getting flack for his first two performances, the shot-stopper stood up in the Limerick game, pin-point puck outs becoming a key cog to the Rebelss attack.
2. Adam Hogan (Clare)
He has carried on his fine league form, picking up the toughest of forwards every day.
3. Dan Morrisey (Limerick)
Unlike Mike Casey and Sean Finn Morrisey has been a reliable steady state in the full-back line as always he has been a rock for the Treaty men.
4. Mark Fitzgerald (Waterford)
Arguably Waterford's best performer in the league, the Passage man carried on his fine form into the championship and had a fine 2024 season at college and inter-county level.
5. Diarmuid Ryan (Clare)
The highest scoring wing back from play 1ith 1-5, Ryan has carried on where he left off last season, being Brian Lohan’s key attacking back.
A marauding run forward from Diarmuid Ryan and he's in the right place to score a crucial Clare goal against Tipp in this second half

6. Tadhg De Burca (Waterford)
After all the injury misfortune the former Young Hurler of the Year has suffered, people would not have blamed him if he decided to pack it in after last year's Achilles injury, but De Burca isn’t human, and after a year out, he returned to his brilliant sweeping best.
7. Kyle Hayes (Limerick)
After missing the majority of the league, Hayes hit the ground running with commanding performances at wing-back.
8. Darragh Fitzgibbon (Cork)
Arguably the Hurler of the Year so far, the Rebels midfielder is causing GPS systems to malfunction with the amount of ground he covers. He has put in top performances in every game so far, scoring 14 points from play.

9. Cathal O’Neill (Limerick)
This seems to be the year that Cathal O’Neill has finally broken into the Limerick team. The injury to Darragh O’Donovan has certainly helped his cause, but the youngster has backed manager John Kiely’s faith with 10 points so far. Man of the match v Waterford.

10. David Fitzgerald (Clare)
You could say he was more impressive in the league, but the towering Innagh-Kilnamona man has scored 2-10 in the championship as the Banner looks to add more silverware.
11. Shane Barrett (Cork)
Is Shane Barrett the fastest inter-county player in the current game? Since moving to centre forward, he has given centre-backs migraines as he has been simply unstoppable, scoring 1-7.
12. Gearóid Hegarty (Limerick)
The former Hurler of the Year has returned to his award winning form by taking the game by the scruff of the neck for Kiley's men. The swapping from wing-forward to the full-forward line midgame is causing defenders headaches
13. Patrick Horgan (Cork)
The Munster championship top scorer with 4-37, Hoggie is loving life at the moment playing in a three-man full-forward line. Is this finally the year he gets an All-Ireland medal?
14. Alan Connolly (Cork)
4-9 from play in four games: the Blackrock man has been simply unmarkable at times, leaving defenders with nightmares with his speed, strength and power.

15. Shane O’Donnell (Clare)
Makes the forward line tick, winning primary possession, setting up scores and scoring at crucial moments, the wannabe astronaut could take the Banner to the Milky Way of All-Ireland success.
