The Dublin footballers were pushed to the edge against Kerry this afternoon. Things looked bleak in the 60th minute, when Kerry clawed ahead, but Dublin found the resolve to level the game and ultimately win by two.
It was almost as if they were guided by a higher power.
Touchingly, Philly McMahon took to Twitter from the Croke Park dressing room to tweet a touching tribute to 'Batman' Ben Farrell, the enormously brave boy from Finglas who died two weeks ago from stage IV Wilms tumours.

There was also a minute's applause for Farrell in the 5th minute of the game. It's amazing to see Ben's spirit live on today through the Dubs.
