Peter Crowley has suffered a serious knee injury which will rule him of championship action.
Radio Kerry reports that the Laune Rangers defender has sustained a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Crowley's absence this summer will be a major blow to Kerry manager Peter Keane. He was a regular for the Kingdom throughout their run to the National League final against Mayo.

The 28-year-old, who made his inter-county debut in 2012, was part of the 2014 All-Ireland winning Kerry team.

Kerry's first game of the summer will be the Munster semi-final against either Clare or Waterford on June 1st.
