St Ciaran's Ballygawley captured their first Ulster Colleges title on May 9, when they overcame St Columb's Derry by 0-19 to 1-6. Three of the points were scored by Darragh Canavan, son of former Tyrone great Peter. It looks like the old man has taught him well - Canavan junior's points shown in the clip are reminiscent of the Errigal Ciarán maestro circa 1993.
Here's a fantastic video of Canavan senior doing what he did best. He really was magnificent.
Speaking of the son of a famous athlete who could emulate his dad, let's not forget Trevor Brennan's gargantuan teenage son Dan, who looks like he could play top-level rugby already. Let's hope he declares for Ireland if the day eventually comes.
It really has been a day for the schools sports star - we've already seen near-perfection from Ulster Schools GAA, and a lightning-fast, 135kg Kiwi prop laying waste to the opposition.
