Former Kerry footballer Paul Galvin has been nominated as the Wexford senior football manager on a two-year term.
The county's senior football manager selection committee have confirmed their selection in a statement today. Galvin will be put forward for ratification at the next meeting of the Wexford County Board in September.
The role has been vacant since Paul McLoughlin left in June. Galvin, who won footballer of the year in 2009, has been involved in coaching with the TG4 Underdogs and spent some time with the London footballers last year.

McLoughlin stood away with a parting swipe at the county's clubs after Wexford exited the 2019 championship against Derry.
It's up to the Wexford county board and the team to move it on, but I certainly won't be going on next year. I've done two years.
I think we've done a lot of good work, but I think we are in a difficult position with football in the county.
