A battle raged between Kerry and Donegal two and a half minutes in their league encounter on Sunday.
The melee inspired the Irish Daily Star to produce the apt 'Austin Whack Park' headline.
It was a brawl which saw no push or punch go unretaliated though no red card was dished out.
One was shown to Kerry full-forward Alan Fitzgerald just two minutes later after he was involved in an altercation with Donegal full-back Neil McGee.
The Castlegregory player, who suggested McGee had interfered with his fingers, was sent-off for punching the Donegal man.
As you can see below from the TG4 coverage, McGee certainly has a grasp of Fitzgerald's hand.
Neil McGee was left bloodied by Fitzgerald's fists.
The incident motivated Paul Galvin to suggest on Twitter that McGee deserved the retaliation.
No harm for McGee to get his nose popped for what he did to Alan Fitz. That's going to him a long time. #Kerry #AllianzLeagues

Listen Donegal, @Niallmacaoidh can't complain. Nor can ye. Simple as that. He knows the score. No way McLoone deserved red. #AllianzLeagues

Later, on his Facebook page, Galvin further explained his viewpoint.
Few cheap shots fired towards me on here I hear. I said Neil McGee deserved a slap for trying to damage Alan Fitz's finger. I stand by that. That's not to say Alan Fitz was right to box him but he did and got punished. Alan deserved a red. Leo McLoone didn't deserve a red. Neil McGee can't complain that he got a box in the shnoz. That's my opinion on it and if all you can do is throw stones about my past or sneer at the fact that I have a clothing label so that I will have a decent future, then you do that. I'll keep moving on.
Regarding the incident, it appears Donegal manager Rory Gallagher developed Arsene Wenger Syndrome.
Didn't see it, didn't even know the man was sent off until I saw him coming towards me.
The cards did not halt with the Fitzgerald and McGee incident. Leo McLoone would also see red for striking and a total of six yellow cards and two black cards would be shown.
