Paul Durcan only arrived back in Ireland on Friday night. The Donegal keeper recently moved to Qatar.
His return to Ireland was due to the participation of Ballyboden St. Enda's (who he joined from Four Masters earlier this year) in the Leinster club final against Portlaoise.
That eight hour flight was worth it alone for a crucial save with just over ten minutes remaining in the game.
Portlaoise's Brian McCormack found sufficient space between Ballyboden defenders to claim a ball and then turn towards goal. The green flag must have already been raised in McCormack's mind, but Durcan had other thoughts.
The 31-year-old manage to get a fingertip to the ball, touching it on to the post.
Here's the replay.
