2012 All-Ireland winning goalkeeper Paul Durcan is back training with the Donegal footballers.
The Donegal Democrat reports that the two-time All-Star has been training with Declan Bonner's side for the past fortnight. Though, the 35-year-old is not a part of Bonner's squad at the moment.
Durcan last played for Donegal in the 2015 All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Mayo. Following that game, he moved to Doha for work.
He subsequently returned to Ireland periodically to play for his club Ballyboden St Enda's in the Dublin, Leinster and All-Ireland Club Football Championships. He won an All-Ireland club medal Ballyboden in 2016.
Durcan's time in Qatar ended just before Christmas and he has since returned home.
So far this year, Shaun Patton started in goal for Donegal in their National Football League Division Two games against Clare and Tipperary. Marc Anthony McGinley started the game against Meath.
