A late injury time goal from Patrick Cummins saw Doon defeat Patrickswell in the group stages of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship on Saturday evening.
Wing-back Cummins struck in the 67th minute of the game as his side won 2-19 to 1-21.
Just minutes earlier, Patrickswell hit three consecutive points - two from Hurler of the Year nominee Diarmaid Byrnes and one from Calvin Carroll - to take a two-point lead.
Doon heads did not drop however, and they worked the ball forward to Cummins through Richie English and Dean Coleman. Despite slipping as the Patrickswell defence converged on him, Cummins found the net.

The victory, Doon's third in the group stage, confirms their place in the knockout phase.
"We're very relieved," Doon manager Tadhg Hayes told Sporting Limerick.
"It did look like the match was gone. They picked off two scores in succession there at the end, and we didn't really look like we were threatening the goals. It's a break for us, I'll put it like that.
"I just said to the lads that they didn't give up, and they went for that goal in the end, and they got it. We're very happy to get away with that.
"Matches finish up, and whoever uses the ball best will get that result in the end. I can't say we used it the best [during the rest of the game] but for that particular move, we didn't give it away.
"One of the lads had a chance at a strike, but he didn't take the point. He looked across, and saw Patrick, and that gave us the opportunity. It bobbled into the net. I'm not sure how it went in, but it went in anyway."
