Oasis' comeback tour is heading for Croke Park on Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17, 2025.
The iconic Manchester band announced their return on Tuesday morning with fourteen live shows pencilled in for next summer, across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Beginning in Cardiff on July 4, the band's reunion will conclude in Dublin in the middle of August with tickets going on sale this Saturday morning at 8am Irish time.
The announcement appears to confirm that the GAA's inter-county calendar for 2025 will follow a similar pattern to the summer just gone.
Next year's All-Ireland football and hurling finals are already pencilled in for July 20 and July 27 respectively, with the ladies football and camogie deciders now expected to slot in on August 3 and 10, leading up to the weekend of the Oasis concerts.
Hurling, Gaelic football and Ladies football replays could take place the Saturday after each game, though it's unclear what would happen if the camogie final is a draw, given that Oasis are due to be in Croke Park that Saturday.
Led by the Gallagher brothers Noel and Liam, Oasis enjoyed huge success during the 90s and 2000s before their split in 2009 after a row between the siblings.
The brothers were barely on speaking terms since but the fall-out appears to have thawed in recent days, leading to their comeback.
"The guns have fallen silent," they tweeted this morning, "The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."
The Gallaghers have strong Irish roots with their mother Peggy hailing from Mayo and their estranged father Tommy from Meath.
For the day that's in it, here's a picture of Noel Gallagher lining out in Croke Park with Manchester Club Oisin's, back in 1983.
