Nominations For PwC Hurling All-Stars And Player Of The Year Revealed

All-Ireland champions Tipperary top the billing for the PwC All-Star hurling nominations, with 11 of their players featuring in the shortlist which has been announced this morning. Tipp have at least one player nominated in every line of the field, while Seamus Callanan will be going up against Patrick Horgan and TJ Reid for Player of the Year.

Kilkenny have nine players among the PwC All-Star nominees, with personal recognition for Reid and Adrian Mullen, with Mullen nominated for Young Player of the Year, alongside Kyle Hayes and Rory O'Connor.

Laois' Joe McDonagh Cup win and subsequent Dublin upset has been rewarded with two all-star nominations; namely goalkeeper, Enda Rowland, and Jack Kelly in defence. Wexford have eight players among the nominees, with Limerick earning six and Cork, Dublin and Galway all boasting two players each.

The All-Star team will be announced in late October ahead of the PwC All-Stars banquet on November 1st. The full list of nominees is available below:
