A vintage display from Loughmore-Castleiney brought the club their fifth Tipperary senior hurling championship, with a third double now in their sights.
Toomevara started brightly against the breeze in Sunday's final but they were gradually ground down by a Loughmore-Castleiney team who took control of the second half.
The mid-Tipperary side are renowned for their economical use of possession, and a 37th minute score by sub Ciaran McCormack showcased the team's composure.
Brian McGrath won a break in the back-line, off-loading to Noel who somehow found John with a spin-and-strike style move that he used on a couple of occasions in Sunday's decider.
John passed off the shoulder to his cousin Tomás who played a pop-pass to the onrushing Ed Connolly. Connolly powered through the centre, laying off to John who then set-up 'Rucker' for the score.

It combined calmness on the ball with brilliant support play in a manner that epitomised a Loughmore-Castleiney team who rarely give the ball away.
"You hear calls and you mightn't see what's going on but you trust that lads are getting into the right position," reflected John afterwards.
"And if you hear the call, you give the pass.
"That trust builds up over years. There's a lot of us on the road over a long time, ten plus years and like them relationships build every year, every match from just playing, playing, playing.
"All them years back in the yard at home as well."
Their attention will turn to Sunday's football decider against Clonmel Commercials in due course, with a third double since 2013 the aim, but only after celebrating the hurling win, as John told TG4.
"There's no point in playing these games if you can't celebrate them," he said.
"We'll certainly celebrate this tonight. You couldn't, what would you do, go home and put the feet up. No we'll celebrate this, we'll knuckle down Monday, Tuesday. I know Shane was there, he'll be keeping a close eye on us for next week.
"Days like this don't come around often enough to not be celebrating. There's lad that have three...Noel and Ciaran have four, but just as important, there's lads winning their first, it's just brilliant for the club. It's about bringing that on every couple of years, bringing a few new lads in."
