Tipperary have been boosted with the return to light training of Noel McGrath. The 24-year-old corner forward underwent surgery for testicular cancer in April, but gave the whole Tipperary panel a massive boost last night when he appeared at training for a puck about.
Tipperary have been without the 2009 Young Hurler of the Year since his last appearance for the county during the League campaign.
It's still unclear whether McGrath will play any part of the 2015 Championship, but it's a great sign that he was well enough after undergoing surgery just nine weeks ago. McGrath will not be available for this weekend's game against Limerick, but could be asked to be involved in the backroom staff.

In other Tipperary injury news, their main immediate concern is around last year's young hurler of the year Cathal Barrett who has been out since injuring his shoulder in April, and isn't back to full contact training yet.
It's hoped that both Barrett and McGrath will continue their comebacks soon, and play some part of the 2015 Championship.
