Coming back from the dead, today's Ladies HEC O'Connor Cup final will be remembered for the outstanding impact of DCU's Aishling Moloney and her late heroics.
Claiming what had appeared an unlikely victory, the success was somewhat tempered for her teammate Niamh Kelly.
Having beaten last year's winners UL, Kelly had to take the satisfaction of winning with the reality that her sister Grace was on the losing side this time out.
Never playing as opponents prior to this final, Kelly spoke to Jerome Quinn after what was an incredibly tight win:
Obviously I was delighted for us, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for Grace, because it's the first time we've not played on the same team together.
My heart went straight out for her, so I had to go over and just hug her.
Commending her sister and the UL team on what was a fiercely tight game, Kelly is sure that University of Limerick will be back in contention sooner than not.
You can watch that touching moment along with Kelly's own recollection of it below.
