Referee Sean Laverty was in no mood for hanging around as the rain fell at Páric Éanna in Glengormley on Wednesday evening.

During the second half of the Antrim SFC group stage game between Naomh Éanna and St Galls, the official blew to indicate the end of the minute-long water break.

Naomh Éanna, who were seven points down at the time, emerged from the break quicker than St Gall's and took advantage of the visitors' slackness.

Goalkeeper Declan Breen kicked out the ball and Naomh Éanna swiftly moved it up the pitch as the St Galls defence raced back into position.

Their efforts were in vain as Odhran Eastwood side footed the ball to the net. Eastwood added on a point shortly afterwards as the St Galls lead was cut to three points.

That was as close as Noamh Éanna got however as St Galls won the game 1-12 to 1-9.
