It was a memorable day for Na Fianna in Parnell Park on Sunday, as the Glasnevin club claimed their first ever Dublin senior hurling title.
The past two years had brought heartbreak for Na Fianna, who lost out in the dying moments of the 2021 final to Kilmacud, before losing to the same opposition in the 2022 decider.
They were determined to put things right this season, and it was indeed third time lucky on Sunday afternoon, as they took a clinical victory against Ballyboden St. Enda's.
Most would have expected a close game at Parnell Park, so the margin of victory managed by Na Fianna was surprising, as they kicked on to cruise to a massive 16-point victory over their southside rivals.
The game was almost won by half-time, as Na Fianna went in at the break ten points up, and they didn't take their foot off the gas, ultimately running out 2-19 to 0-09 winners.
Of their 2-19 tally, 0-10 was scored by Colin Currie, and 2-05 scored by brother Sean, with both of the Na Fianna goals coming in the first-half.
It was a special day for Na Fianna, the first north Dublin team to win the county hurling title in 17 years, and the emotion was plain to see on the faces of their players at full-time.
