Monaghan are set to take on Meath this weekend as the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship round-robins reaches it's conclusion with both sides in contention for a place in the preliminary quarter-finals. Here's everything you need to know about Monaghan v Meath.

For Monaghan, they will be looking to finish off their round-robin campaign in style. The Farney County began their Sam Maguire campaign in Killarney with a trip to play Munster champions Kerry where the home side would cruise to a 0-24 to 1-11 win.

Vinny Corey's side welcomed neighbours Louth to St.Tiernach's Park in round two, where a five-point collapse late on by the Wee County allowed Monaghan to draw the game 2-10 to 2-10.

In Meath's case, they will be hoping to salvage something for themselves following a fairly disappointing championship so far. Colm O'Rourke's side began their campaign in Inniskeen to face bitter rivals Louth where three quick goals from Craig Lennon and Sam Mulroy sunk the Royals and gave the Wee County a 3-10 to 0-09 win, their first in the championship over Meath since 1975.

The Royals' woes continued into round two, where Kerry would breeze past Meath in Páirc Tailteann with a 2-18 to 0-09 win.

A win for Meath would see them qualify for the preliminary quarter-finals while Monaghan would qualify with only a draw. If Monaghan win this game and Louth are beaten by Kerry, Monaghan could overtake Louth into second place if they have a better goal differential.
