Readers, a question: Does anyone know the story behind the disappearance of the mental/inspired video mashup featuring Paul Galvin, Eoin Cadogan and, I believe, Aphex Twin?
It was compelling viewing for neutrals in the weeks before the All-Ireland, but seems to have disappeared entirely from the internet in the wake of Cork's All-Ireland win.
The video was nominally centred on the Paul Galvin's 'Trial by Sunday Game' earlier this year. But by looping in footage of Eoin Cadogan's hatchet job on Galvin
in the league last winter over nine minutes of ambient Aphex Twin-sounding music, the Youtube auteur created a work of psychopathic weirdness that somehow managed to point the finger back at Cork and RTE and redeem Galvin. (There's no redeeming the Australia tattoo on PG's elbow though)
It's one of Irish sports' best-ever Youtube creations and it would be sad if gone forever. Did the creator simply get shy after it was featured on this website or are there darker mechanics afoot?
