And as the south Monaghan club commenced celebrating, TG4 were preparing a live broadcast of the senior county final between Monaghan Harps and Scotstown. Everything appeared to be going fine when GAA analyst Jarlath Burns was giving his thoughts on the upcoming game. But then a wave of delirious Donaghmoyne minors swarmed them and the outcome was predictable hilarious.
They must be putting something funky in the Lucozade sport around the Monaghan area, but credit to the GAA Beo crew for taking the invasion in good spirits and allowing the lads have their moment.
