If you weren't tuned into the Premier Junior camogie final at Croke Park yesterday, and also inexplicably managed to miss the six-one news, you might have missed one of the goals of the summer.
Armagh may have eventually lost out to a dominant Carlow on a scoreline of 4-10 to 2-07, but the final will - at least in part - be remembered for a moment of sheer genius by the Orchard's Ciara Donnelly.
A long delivery from the right-hand side appeared at first glance to be gliding somewhat aimlessly wide, before Donnelly intervened by doubling up over her left shoulder and diverting the ball beautifully into the far corner. It was surely the best goal we've seen at Croke Park this season and, indeed, in many seasons.
Ciara Donnelly's moment of sheer brilliance for Armagh could well be the goal of the summer #RTEgaa https://t.co/b6cUSvDpcs

You know a goal is good when it's extremely difficult to stop watching it.
Unfortunately for Armagh, a hat-trick from Ciara Quirke and an imperious performance by the 16-year-old Rachel Sawyer saw Carlow over the line, as their remarkable ascent through the camogie ranks continues.
