For the third time in five years, an O'Connor from Ballintubber has been named Young Footballer of the Year.
Cillian, the top scorer in this year's Championship, won the award in 2011 and 2012.
On Friday night, his brother Diarmuid got the nod for his stellar performances on the Mayo half-forward line in 2015.
Apart from the O'Connor family, one teammate of Diarmuid's in particular had reason to celebrate.
Mickey Conroy - whose Championship came to a premature end in August due to a shoulder injury sustained during a club game - had a €100 bet on O'Connor at 33/1 back in June.

Donegal's Ryan McHugh and Monaghan's Ryan Wylie were the other two players nominated in the category, though O'Connor was odds on to win the award since early September.
