Tipperary were crowned National Football League Division 3 champions on Saturday after a 3-19 to 0-19 win against Louth at Croke Park.

Star of the game was Conor Sweeney, scoring 2-5 of his side's total.

It was not the Ballyporeen player who was named Man of the Match by TG4 - that was his full forward line colleague Michael Quinlivan, who scored three points in the victory.

Quinlivan was the hero last weekend, scoring a last ditch goal against Armagh which sealed Tipperary's promotion to Division 2.

Speaking to TG4's Mícheál Ó Domhnaill after yesterday's game, Quinlivan looked a little sheepish about receiving the award ahead of Sweeney.

If I'm being brutally honest, I'd say Charlie might have been watching the wrong inside forward there lads.
