Though Waterford lost their final game of this year's Munster Hurling Championship, it was still a day to remember for Michael 'Brick' Walsh.
The four-time All-Star made a record 74th championship appearance. Remarkably, those appearances have all been consecutive.
35-year-old Walsh passed former Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins on the all-time list.
Post-match, Waterford supporters gathered on the Semple Stadium to show their appreciation for a hurling legend.
