The quarter-final kicks off the championship stages in senior football for 2024. The Dublin side will be eager to make an impact after their loss to Derry in the Allianz Football League Division 1 final. Dessie Farrell's side ultimately lost out in a penalty shootout, after a last-gasp goal in extra-time had forced a 2-21 to 3-18 draw.
The Meath side finished out the Allianz Football League in fifth position on the Division 2 table.
