Galway will march on to play Kerry in the All-Ireland junior football final after overcoming Meath in a remarkable semi-final showdown in Dr Hyde Park.
A hat-trick from Aran Islands club man Colm Brennan proved crucial for the Tribesmen who had ten different scorers in the game.

2-6 from Meath forward Kevin Ross had the Royals hopeful of a final spot but a late Enda Tierney goal forced extra-time where Galway ultimately prevailed. At the end of the game the teams were tied 6-11 to 4-17. Johnny Ryan's introduction proved crucial as he hit 0-4 in the additional stages. It means Davy Nelson's side bow out of the championship.
With Kerry playing Donegal in Croke Park next week, there is now a possibility of a double-header for the juniors.
