Mayo's quest to win the All-Ireland remains the most compelling storyline in Irish sport.
Stephen Rochford's side were expected to comfortably overcome Cork, but they were almost knocked out before the quarter-final stage for the first time since 2010.
Leading by six points midway through the second-half, Mayo somehow allowed Cork take the game to extra-time, with two late goals.
The Munster side led at half-time in extra-time, but Mayo's class and experience shone in the second half to book their place in Croke Park for the quarter-finals.

Is this Mayo team the most box office in GAA history? Nearly every match is a must-watch, for various reasons.

Every game is drama but Mayo dug out the win. Defence was so vulnerable but I've rarely seen our forwards play better. #GAA #mayogaa
