Matthew Tierney was superb for Galway in their Connacht Championship semi-final victory against Roscommon on Sunday afternoon.
The Oughterard man - who played in midfield - scored 1-3 in what was his championship debut. He was also named Man of the Match by RTÉ.
In tough, wet conditions, Tierney kicked three fantastic points from deadballs, and added a killer late goal to put Galway ahead by seven points.
"He had an outstanding game," former Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice told The Sunday Game.
"We mentioned him before the programme as being the find of the league for Padraic Joyce.
"He got a couple of crucial frees. They were big scores at the time. None of them were gimmes. They were big kicks on a tough day for kickers. He got the key goal that killed off the game."

"Terrible," Tierney said when asked about the conditions, "slippy ball. We just tried to keep it simple".
Tierney won an All-Ireland U20 title with Galway in December, scoring four points as his side beat Dublin in the final. Paul Kelly, who also played in that U20, scored 1-2 against Roscommon.
Galway won Sunday's game 2-11 to 0-12, and will face Mayo in the Connacht final on July 25th.
Matthew Tierney should be the story of the summer. Couldn't be happier for his family. https://t.co/uFaA4XRaOz
