As you'll know by now, Martin O'Neill announced his Ireland squad for the last two Euro 2016 qualifier matches today and while we were down at the press conference we thought it was the ideal opportunity to get his thoughts on this weekend's All-Ireland football final. We began by posing the question of who thinks will win between Dublin and Kerry.
The former Derry minor player will actually miss the match because Roy Keane went and got him tickets to New Zealand v Argentina on Sunday. First world problems and all that. However, O'Neill will have the iPad with him to keep tabs on how it's going.
In terms of who O'Neill wants to win, well as a proud Ulsterman, he finds it tough to choose either side but the presence of one Bernard Brogan seems to have steered him in the direction of Dublin:
I'm actually quite friendly with young Brogan. He came out to our hotel the other night so I've a distinct interest in his performance.
Although with that being said, O'Neill closed with 'I personally hope both teams kill each other, and there's a fairly decent chance of that happening.'
