A man in his 40s was arrested following an alleged stabbing incident where two people were injured at Paddy Cullen Park in Cookstown on Thursday evening.
A game in the Tyrone U16 Championship between Cookstown Fr Rocks and Fintona Pearses was being played when the incident occurred.
According to the Irish News, the incident occured around 9pm last night, as two people suffered stab wounds. Images have circulated on social media of a man being arrested shortly after.

Reports say that one of the people who were stabbed was sent to hospital in Antrim while the other was treated at the scene.
Statement after stabbing incident at Tyrone U16 game
Cookstown Fr Rocks released a statement late last night saying:
Following a very serious incident at Padraig O’Cuilinn Pairc this evening during an Under-16 Championship match our thoughts are with the individuals impacted by it.
“The committee will now work to ensure that children and young people who witnessed this disturbing and very serious incident have the support and assistance that they require in the coming days.
“The club will be making no further comment on this.”
Fintona released a statement to their Facebook page saying:
The Club is aware of a serious incident that occurred tonight at an underage football match which the PSNI are investigating . Our thoughts are with those impacted and all focus is on the welfare of the children & young people present.
The Club will be making no further comment at this time.
