The GAA pre-season got underway at the weekend. There were some superb photos from the games (thanks to Sportsfile), though our selection of pictures didn't actually feature any of the action.
It was more about the activity surrounding the games.
Tonight, it's all about the action on the pitch - mostly.
Dublin vs Carlow IT
Dublin hammered Carlow IT on the Navan Road - though Carlow did notch up a credible 2-8 in response to the Dubs' 3-24.
In terms of images from the game, the makeshift scoreboard was undoubtedly the highlight.
Fermanagh v St Mary's University College
Maggie Farrelly made history on Wednesday night. She became the first female referee to take charge of a senior inter-county game.
Kildare v Louth
Laois v Carlow
A great 'man vs boy' image from O'Moore Park, featuring Carlow's Brendan Murphy and Laois' Martin Scully.
