Luke Crowley, son of three-time Kerry All-Ireland winner Johnny Crowley, made his senior debut for the Kingdom on Tuesday evening as his side lost to Waterford in the Munster Hurling League.
On the Deise side, Cillian Bonnar - son of two-time Tipperary All-Ireland winner Colm Bonnar - also made his senior inter-county bow.
Bonnar and Crowley had been named to start the game but both were replaced in the starting teams prior to throw-in. Crowley entered the action after 47 minutes as a replacement for Brandon Barrett while Bonnar came on after 63 minutes in place of Seán Walsh.

Waterford won the game, played at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, 3-23 to 3-12.
In late August, Crowley scored 14 of Rathmore's 15 points as they beat a St Brendan's Ardfert side to win the Kerry Junior Hurling Championship final.
Days later, Crowley - who played for the Kingdom U20 footballers in 2023 - scored 1-3 for Glenflesk as they beat Fossa in the Kerry Intermediate Football Championship. He also scored a crucial goal for East Kerry in November's Kerry SFC final victory over Mid Kerry.
Bonnar, whose father Colm has managed the Wexford, Carlow and Tipperary hurlers, plays for the Dunhill club. The family recently appeared on the RTÉ show Ireland's Fittest Family, which was created by current Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald.
