Saturday night's incredible club hurling semifinal between St Thomas's of Galway and reigning All-Ireland club champions Loughgiel Shamrocks at Parnell Park, it seems, will not be remembered for Loughgiel's incredible last second comeback to force a replay, but rather for accusations made by Steven McGarry, the Antrim club's PRO, post-match on social media that his club received sectarian abuse during the game.
@martindelaney56 martin on three different occasions and when they thought they were about to win!! #noneedmansgame

@arlic10 no need at all. No difference between this and what Aaron Cunningham was subjected to. #disgraceful

Note that the final tweet comes from the official Loughgiel club account, so the club is backing McGarry here.
The replay is going to be feisty.
