Anyone tuning into Morning Ireland for Des Cahill's sports update this morning might have heard the him lose the absolute run of himself when, as far as we can tell at least, something absolutely hilarious happened while he was reading his bulletin.
It would seem that the ever professional titan of Irish sports broadcasting was privy to an off air joke that hit home at the worst moment possible. If anyone is able to fill us in please feel free to share the joke but, either way we're just glad that it happened.
