Limerick and Tipperary will battle it out in a top of the table clash in the Allianz Hurling League this Saturday. Here's all you need to know about Limerick v Tipperary.
The fixture was originally due to take place at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. However, there has been a delay on improvements to the pitch as a result of the weather conditions in recent weeks and the surface isn't ready to be played on. All this means that the game has been moved south to SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Nonetheless, it is set to be an intriguing contest with both sides looking to maintain their perfect start to this years league season. Limerick overcame Antrim and Westmeath before turning on the style against Dublin. Tipperary also beat Dublin and Westmeath with a victory at home to Galway sandwiched in between.
The local rivals are neck and neck at the top of Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League. Both sides have a maximum 6 points from their 3 games with the All Ireland Champions top on points difference. Managers John Kiely and Liam Cahill have experimented with different combinations in their respective fixtures so far. However, expect more established players to come to the fore as the sides look to secure top spot.
