The Limerick county final between Na Piarsagh and Kilmallock was down for decision today in the Gaelic Grounds. With TG4's cameras pointed to a virtually empty stand, it was easy to misread the temperature of the game at first glance. Viewers who stuck around for the first twenty-odd minutes, however, were left in no doubt as to the passion that was on show.
An almighty scrap erupted when Jake Mulcahy was tossed over the sideline like, to coin a phrase, a loaf of bread. From there, it all kicked off. Here it is, courtesy of TG4:

One yellow card.
Na Piarsaigh went on to win out, 1-22 to 2-14. They will face Cork's Blackrock in three weeks time in the Munster championship.
