A 6-year-old from Tipperary has been the talk of the internet in Ireland today following a video posted displaying his frankly insane level of hurling knowledge.
Odhran McLoughlin from Killenaule was been dubbed the new "Memory Man" when two videos were put up on Twitter of him answering all manner of questions on hurling without ever missing a beat.
While it originally appears a memorised list of All-Ireland winners in order (already seriously impressive for a 6-year-old!), as you watch over the course of the two videos, and the question get a lot more random, and a lot more difficult, the depth of Odhran's knowledge becomes very apparent.

Despite the Kerry jersey, Odhran is a very much a Tipperary man, so it will be extra special to him for his county's All-Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy to let him know how impressed he was, and even invite him to meet the Tipp team when they eventually get back together, whenever that may be.
Both of these videos are absolutely fantastic well done Odhran👏👏👏 we would love to have him in to one of our training sessions later in the year once we have beaten Covid to meet the players 👍👍👍

This is a lovely touch from Sheedy, and we look forward to hearing of Odhran's trip to Thurles. Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later.
Needless to say if Balls.ie are looking for a new hurling correspondent when the season gets back under way, we'll know where to look.
