Frustration boiled over for Liam Rushe as he saw red for a wild whip on the face guard of Maurice Shanahan as Dublin exited this year's All Ireland Hurling Championship.
The game well as good as won after a Maurice Shananan goal gave Waterford a seven point lead in the 66th minute, Minutes later Shanahan was on the receiving end of Rushe's hurl and unsurprisingly saw red in the last action of the game.
Waterford edged the Dubs by a scoreline of 2-21 to 1-19 and will now play All Ireland Hurling Champions Kilkenny in the semi-final at Croke Park on August 9th.
