Clare and Kildare go head to head in the 2023 All-Ireland Intermediate final. Both teams had drastically different semi-finals to book themselves a spot in this year's intermediate final and give them a chance to reach the top height of Ladies' football and be promoted to the senior division next year.

Kildare's semi-final game against Wexford was an extremely low-scoring affair. The two teams only registered 1-6 between them. Diane O'Hora's side claimed 1-4 of the scoreline while reducing Wexford to scoring only 0-2. A low-scoring affair is not expected to be repeated this weekend as the Kildare ladies have two of the most prolific scores in the intermediate championship this year.

Centre Half forward Roisin Byrne (4-50) and Nessa Dooley (10-21) have combined all year to take their joint tally to 14-71 heading into the All-Ireland final.

Clare on the other hand had an impressive victory over Antrim in a high-scoring match, in which Clare outscored the Ulster side 2-14 to 1-13. They will be hoping to build on their momentum after their semi-final victory and go on to claim the intermediate All-Ireland final.

A replica of the men's senior football final, Dublin return to the All-Ireland senior ladies' football final for the first time since 2021.

Kerry returns to Croke Park after last year's final defeat to Meath, they will be hoping to cover their wounds of last year's final with a victory over Dublin to claim their first All-Ireland final win since 1993 and lift the Brendan McCarthy Cup.

Both teams are in similar form coming into the game, having comfortable wins in their respective semi-finals. Dublin beat Cork 2-19 to 0-13 to reach their first final since 2021.

Kerry beat Connacht champions Mayo 1-16 to 1-11 to advance to the final stage of the 2023 ladies football championship.

Mick Bohan's team will hope to follow the steps of their male counterparts, beating Kerry in yet another Kerry v Dublin All-Ireland final this year. However, they will not have it easy as they will have to try and contain Kerry's leading goalscorer this year and the ever-posing threat in front of goal that is Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh in Kerry's full forward line.

Dublin has their own caliber of impressive and threatening players, however, All-Ireland final veterans Carla Rowe and Sinead Aherne, mixed with the talented youth of Kate Sullivan will be tough ask for the Kerry defenders to defend against.
