Lee Chin will find himself in some unfamiliar surroundings on Wednesday evening. It's not just because he will be standing in front of a camera, presenting a TV show on RTÉ One - the location for the show will also be alien.

The Wexford hurler is a guest presenter for RTÉ's week-long, 'Big Week On The Farm', which broadcasts live from a farm in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

"I haven't got a clue about farming," Chin told Balls at the launch of the 2018 Beko Club Bua award scheme at Croke Park on Tuesday.

It's going to be very interesting, it's going to be a great experience.

I'm looking forward to getting a little bit of education in regards to it because there were a couple of times you'd be on bus journeys with the team and there would be a lot of farmers on the bus and you'd be asking, 'What's the difference between a brown cow and a black and white cow? What do they do differently?' You'd just be asking silly questions.

They have the craic with me because I'm from town in Wexford and I wouldn't have a clue about anything. The only field that I'm used to is a hurling field, that's just about it.

It's going to be interesting tomorrow.

Despite there being a ready well of farming knowledge on the Wexford panel, Chin will not be dipping into it.

"I would not trust them. I wouldn't listen to them because they could give me one or two bits of info and I could go and say it on TV and it would not make sense at all.

"So, I'm not going to bother [asking for tips]. I'm going to learn it all when I'm down there tomorrow."

The 25-year-old doesn't rule out it being more than a one-off.

"Lookit, it's interesting. It's nice to just get the experience of doing it.

"If you like it and you enjoy it, maybe in the future it could be something that you could go down that avenue.

"At the moment, I'm enjoying my hurling days and I won't look too far past that."
