From the site that brought you the British Twitter Reaction to Hurling, we are proud to present Canadian Man's Reaction to Hurling.
The jewel in the GAA's crown is cursed by equivalency across the waters, as numerous and futile attempts are made to compare it other sports: hockey and lacrosse are two oft-quoted examples. Lee Chin recently travelled to Canada to try his hand at ice hockey, with the Vancouver Canucks. In return, Alex Auld is swapping ice for ash in Wexford.
It's all part of the AIB-sponsored The Toughest Trade, which airs on RTE next Friday. AIB tweeted out a teaser this evening, which shows one of Chin's befuddled teammates trying to understand Chin's sport, and ends up thinking that Chin spends his evenings throwing about hurdles.
You can watch the whole thing unfold below:

Fair play to the guy who came up who at worst had the decency to lie about the sport to break up the awkward conversation. Although we're not sure about that random old lad beside Chin, whose contribution was solely to list sports.
