This come as no suprise of course. You got the sense the O'Connor felt like he had to take the reins again this year rather than he wanted to. We are about to find out just how good he is. Some say, mostly in Derry that he failed to get the best out of the finest forwards in the country, everyone else points to the glut of All-Ireland's, Munster titles, and finals. Yes, Kerry struggled this year but Jack coaxed and cajoled as best he could. They very nearly pulled it out of the fire against Donegal despite being ravaged by injury and had they done so it would of been Cork at Croker and we all know how that usually ends.
