AFL side St. Kilda have snapped up two rising inter-county players.

Darragh Joyce, younger brother of Kieran, captained Kilkenny to the All-Ireland minor hurling title in 2014. Ray Connellan, who broke his leg in the recent Leinster, has played for the Westmeath seniors for two seasons now.

Both are heading for Melbourne, according to the Australian daily 'The Age'.

They are said to have impressed in the Europe Talent Combine Trials. Both have been signed on two year contracts.
