Warrenpoint controversially progressed to the quarter-finals of the Down Senior Football Championship after victory over Kilcoo in the second round on Sunday.
Kilcoo, reigning Down champions and last season's losing All-Ireland finalists, are not out of the competition. They get a second bite at a title defence this weekend through the competition's back door.
Sunday's controversy stemmed from the failure of the referee to add on sufficient injury-time. Just under 31 minutes were played in the second half but the water break had lasted nearly two minutes.
Warrenpoint, who lost to Kilcoo in last year's final, won the game 0-10 to 0-9. It was Patrick Murdock, the Warrenpoint fullback, who kicked the winning point.
"There's a lot of stuff I'd like to say," Kilcoo coach Conleith Gilligan told BBC Northern Ireland.
"I'd rather not speak about the referee, to be honest. The timekeeping, everyone saw the clock, they know what was going on.
"He did [blow it up early] and we were in the ascendancy pushing for a point. That's something that other people will have to look at and have to decide whether it's right or wrong.
"We're just here to get the best for the players. We just hope that we'll get a break the next day and that it doesn't go against us again.
"It wasn't straight knockout but it didn't feel like that at the time. It's hugely disappointing because of the effort and the hundreds of hours that those boys put in.
"We have another chance at it. We're waiting on the draw and we into the backdoor next weekend."
