Cork GAA have appointed Kieran Kingston as new manager of the county's senior hurlers.
The Tracton man - a two-time All-Ireland winner - gets a two-year deal.
County chairman Gerard Lane said of the appointment:
On behalf of the County Board, I would like to wish Kieran all the very best in his new position. He joins a long list of distinguished Cork managers, and brings with him a wealth of experience, both as a player and as a coach.
I would like to thank all the candidates who expressed an interest in the position, and also the members of the appointments committee for their endeavours.
Kingston was part of previous manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy's backroom team as both a selector and a coach.
