Mayo supporters were not happy with referee Cormac Reilly's performance during Saturday's All-Ireland semi-final replay in Limerick. Unhappy is actually a major understatement, they were apoplectic.
Horrendous refereeing and scumbag play from Kerry. Only consolation is that they'll be beaten in the final. @mayogaa

On the Sunday Game last night, before he threw his hat in the ring to succeed James Horan, Kevin McStay analysed the official's performance. He called it appalling and highlighted the most egregious decisions and non-decisions.
Probably the moment which had annoyed Mayo fans the most was the decision not to give Shane Enright a card, either yellow or black, for his foul on Cillian O'Connor that resulted in a Mayo penalty in the first half. Enright was already on a yellow, so further punishment would have meant him leaving the field without replacement.
