Kerry have named their team for the gargantuan game against the Dubs on Sunday afternoon, the game they've been waiting patiently for since spring.
They experience the unusual sensation of going into this game as 5/2 outsiders. The handicap on the game is set for three points. They are staring at a fourth successive defeat to the Dubs in a major championship game in the space of six seasons. Historically, such a run would have been unthinkable.
The 2015 Footballer of the Year Jack McCaffrey, currently on something of a gap year in football terms, noted that there was an "ominous silence coming out of Kerry".
Much of the chatter before the team concerned the possible use of Bryan Sheehan, the deployment of Kieran Donaghy, and the selection dilemma (if that's the right word) in the full-forward line.
The team was released on the Kerry GAA website at around 9.00pm. Here's the lineup.
