For the first time in over a year, Kerry may get the chance to see Colm Cooper lace up his boots once more after he was named as part of the squad for Sunday's Allianz League clash with Tyrone.
Cooper, who has been forced to watch on from the sidelines because of a torn cruciate ligament, is joined in the squad by the returning Paul Galvin who surprised many by announcing his return to the inter county scene last month.
Both players will start the game on the bench, however, manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has indicated that there is a good chance that both players could see some action against Mickey Harte's side.
There is a lot of competition to get into the 26 so we would not be taking them, unless we felt that they could contribute on Sunday.
The game in Omagh is being billed as something of a relegation play-off yet, because of the various permutations at play, Kerry could conceivably still make the semi-finals depending on other results.
