Kerry beat Limerick after extra time in the McGrath Cup final at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.
A Conor Geaney goal, in the 89th minute of the game, was a crucial score for Eamon Fitzmaurice's side as they won by four points against their neighbours.

There appeared to be a mood for experimentation in the first half. It is January football after all, a time to test theories, new players, lads in different positions, new tactics and also, for some reason, what would happen if both teams wore green?
Kerry led by five points going into the break. As the Kingdom trotted to the dressing room, they were wearing their traditional green and gold.
That was not the case in the second half.
The experiment over deemed a failure, Kerry emerged from their Gaelic Grounds dressing room wearing their alternate blue jerseys.
who thought it'd be OK to both tog out in green!? Ref should have had Kerry in blue from the start 🙈

It meant the referee, who was wearing blue in the first half, also had to change the colour of his attire at half-time.
Only an Oscars after party would see more costume changes.
Both sides wearing green was an obvious colour clash. Generally, when these two sides have met in recent years, one, or sometimes both, have worn their changed colours - Kerry, the blue they wore in the second half on Sunday and Limerick, white.
