Johnny Glynn is reportedly back training with the Galway senior hurling squad, five years after last playing for the county.
Galway Bay FM are reporting that Glynn is "training with the Galway senior squad, although he is not part of the official panel".
Glynn was a lynchpin of the Galway hurling teams in the 2010s and played a big role in the county's 2017 All-Ireland success.

Johnny Glynn back training with Galway
The 30-year-old has mostly been based in New York since 2018, and represented NY in the Tailteann Cup last summer, where they were beaten by Carlow in the preliminary quarter-final.
He returned to Ireland to play for his club Ardrahan last year, and faced criticism for getting involved in a scuffle with a Sarsfield player in a Galway club championship clash in September.
It appeared to TG4 viewers that Glynn was holding his opponent by the neck while they grappled on the ground, after the pair tangled together. This wasn't seen by the referee, who decided to book both players for their part in the scuffle.
Glynn was suspended for one game after the incident.
What can Johnny Glynn bring?
With Glynn back in the county, it makes sense for Galway to get him involved in training and to see how much he has to offer.
Henry Sheflin's men have fallen short against Limerick in the last two All-Ireland semi-finals and are often criticised for having a soft underbelly, something which the presence of Glynn could help to fix.
e seems to be the kind of the player they need but at 30 years of age, it's hard to know how much he could bring to the table at this stage.
Galway's next two opponents in the Allianz Hurling League are Dublin and Limerick, and they begin their Leinster Championship campaign at home to Carlow on April 21st.
